Service Opportunities at Chapel by the Lake in Juneau

For two decades, Bruce Weyhrauch has maintained a private law practice in Juneau, Alaska, that focuses on litigation, regulation, and government affairs. Dedicated to supporting his local community, Bruce Weyhrauch donates to Chapel by the Lake, a Christian organization that provides Christ-centered and Bible-based guidance and operates a wide range of ministries.

Chapel by the Lake largely relies on volunteers to maintain its in-church programming. Volunteers serve as ushers during services and also perform music, sing in the choir, handle technical equipment, and oversee cleanup and sanctuary care. Individuals who like working with kids may consider volunteering as a Sunday School teacher, or as a substitute teacher, which comes as less of a commitment. Volunteers also help with children’s worship services and youth group activities.

In addition, Chapel by the Lake holds Sunday School classes for adults and maintains a number of small groups as part of its adult ministry services. Volunteers teach these classes and lead these small groups. To learn more about getting involved, visit chapelbythelake.org.
