Donating to the Chapel by the Lake

For nearly two decades, Bruce Weyhrauch has managed the Law Office of Bruce B. Weyhrauch, LLC, in Juneau, Alaska. There, he works closely with a wide range of clients throughout Alaska. Outside of his work life, Bruce Weyhrauch attends and gives charitably to the Chapel by the Lake, a Presbyterian church also located in Juneau.

For those who wish to support the Chapel by the Lake and its community outreach efforts, the church accepts online donations either as a one-time contribution or as reoccurring gifts. The donations are applied to supporting foreign and local mission efforts such as the Glory Hole, which provides shelter and food to the homeless.

The church’s website says that one-time donors do not need a PayPal account to donate, but those wishing to make a reoccurring donation will need to sign up, which is free. That said, Chapel by the Lake encourages even one-time donors to sign up to PayPal to obtain records of their donations.

For single donations, the church allows donors to specify any particular ministry they wish to contribute to using PayPal’s Special Instructions box located in the “Review Donation” section. For reoccurring donations, money goes directly to the church instead of a specific ministry, with funds deducted on the same day each month.
