About Bruce Weyhrauch

Based in Juneau, Alaska, Bruce Weyhrauch guides a well-established law practice focused on government affairs and regulatory matters. He holds a JD from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, and a BS in natural resource planning and engineering from California State University, Humboldt. Mr. Weyhrauch has practiced law in Alaska since 1987 and is experienced in fisheries and natural resources law. Bruce Weyhrauch also assists associations, small construction companies, labor unions, and nonprofit corporations in complex legal matters.

Mr. Weyhrauch’s approximately three decades of experience as a lawyer in Alaska includes time spent with the Attorney General’s Office of the Alaska Department of Law in the mid-1980s. He subsequently served as law clerk within the Juneau Superior Court and entered private practice in 1988. He formed his current Juneau practice in 1997.

Bruce Weyhrauch practices within the United States District Court for the District of Alaska and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the U.S. Active in his professional community, he has served as president of the Board of Governors of the Alaska State Bar Association and the Juneau Bar Association. He has served as a Trustee of Chapel by the Lake, President of Valley Toastmasters, President of the Alaska Commercial Fishermen's Memorial for more than 20 years, and numerous other nonprofit boards of directors. An Eagle Scout, Mr. Weyhrauch is married, has three children, and enjoys camping, fishing, and other outdoor activities in his free time.
